FAQ

SERP Simulator, answered.

Why does Google cut titles by pixels instead of characters?

Google's result column has a fixed width, so a title is truncated once its rendered text passes about 600 px on desktop. Wide letters such as W and M take more of that line than i or l, which is why two 60-character titles can cut at different points. This simulator measures the rendered width the same way.

How long should a meta description be?

Aim for about 920 px on desktop, roughly 150 characters of ordinary text. Mobile cuts sooner, at about 680 px. Put the benefit and the next step in the first sentence so it survives either cut.

Will Google show my title exactly as written?

Google shows the title tag for most searches and can rewrite it or choose different snippet text for a particular query. A clear, accurate title that fits the line gives it the best chance of appearing as written.

Is my text stored anywhere?

No. The simulator runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you type is sent to Suede AI.

Can I check every page on my site automatically?

Yes. In Suede AI Agent Studio the Page SEO Check node reads a live page's title, description, canonical and headings, and the SEO Fix: Title & Meta Rewriter template drafts replacements for your review. Put them on a schedule and every new page gets checked.
