How do I create and send an estimate?#
Estimates use the same editor as invoices, with a Valid through date in place of a due date. Each one gets its own number (EST-0001 onward) and carries your business name and address.

How does my customer accept an estimate?#
Your customer opens the review link and sees the full estimate. Accept estimate creates the invoice on the spot and offers View and pay the invoice, so a yes and a deposit happen in the same visit. Decline estimate lets them say no and leave a reason you can read.
What can I do with an estimate after sending it?#
| Action | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Copy review link | Share the estimate in a chat or message thread |
| Send again | Resend after a call or a revision |
| Mark accepted | The customer said yes by phone or in person; creates the invoice |
| Mark declined | Close it out so your numbers stay clean |
| Create invoice | Turn the estimate into an invoice without waiting for a click |
| Open invoice | Jump to the invoice an accepted estimate created |
What happens when an estimate expires?#
After the Valid through date passes, the estimate moves to Expired on its own. Press Mark accepted on an expired estimate when the customer comes back and you want to honor the price.
How do estimates fit into my sales process?#
Estimates fire four triggers: Estimate sent, Estimate viewed, Estimate accepted and Estimate declined. Use them in Automations to follow up when a customer views but has not answered, move the deal stage when they accept, or ask a declined lead what would change their mind.
