Why connect Google to Agent Studio?#
Estimates tell you what a site might rank for. Search Console and Analytics tell you what actually happened: the queries that earned impressions, the pages that got clicks, and what those visitors did next. Once connected, every flow and report in the project reads the same real numbers, and the SEO coach builds this week's priorities from them.

How do I find keywords one push from page one?#
Open Search performance and stay on the Striking distance tab. It lists queries whose best page averages position 5 to 20, sorted by impressions, so the top rows are the keywords already earning attention where a better title, internal links or a stronger page moves you onto page one.
| Control | Options |
|---|---|
| Tabs | Striking distance, Queries, Pages |
| Date range | Last 7 days, last 28 days, last 3 months |
| Device | All devices, desktop, mobile, tablet |
| Country | Three-letter code such as usa or gbr, or every country |
| Query and Page | Contains or equals any text, such as pricing or /blog/ |
| Rows per page | 25, 50 or 100, with export to CSV, JSON or Google Sheets |
How do I check if Google indexed my pages?#
Use URL inspection at the bottom of Search performance. Paste up to 10 URLs, one per line, and press Inspect URLs. Google returns the verdict, coverage, indexing state, last crawl date, canonical and mobile result for each, ready to export.
What does the Analytics screen show?#
The Analytics screen reads your GA4 property and focuses on what organic visitors do after the click. Pick a report, a date range and, where it applies, a breakdown.
| Report | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Organic overview | Organic sessions, engagement and key events against the equal period before |
| Organic landing pages | Where organic visitors land and what they do next |
| Page performance | Views, users and engagement time by page |
| Key events | Which conversions fire, and how often |
| Traffic acquisition | Where sessions come from, by channel group, source and medium, or campaign |
| Ecommerce | Items viewed, carted and bought, and revenue by landing page |
| Site search | What visitors search for on your own site |
| Audience | Device, country, and new versus returning users |
| Measurement health | Whether streams, enhanced measurement and key events are set up for SEO |
| Search opportunities | Pages ranking 4 to 20 in Search Console, scored with their Analytics outcomes |
How are search opportunities scored?#
Search opportunities joins every Search Console page ranking 4 to 20 with its GA4 landing-page results and scores it 0 to 100. Demand (impressions) counts for 50%, business value (key event rate, or engagement rate when no page has key events) for 30%, and reachability (how close the page sits to the top) for 20%. Each part is ranked against the other pages, so the score always reads as "fix this one first".
Is connecting Google to Agent Studio safe?#
Agent Studio asks Google for read-only scopes (webmasters.readonly for Search Console and analytics.readonly for Analytics), stores the connection tokens encrypted, and reads only the properties you pick for each project, for you as the signed-in owner. Remove a connected account from the Google connections page at any time.
Put Google clicks next to positions in rank tracking, and send both to clients in SEO reports.
