Text a payment link and get paid in a minute

Quick answer

Agent Studio payment links are text-to-pay: create a link for an amount or a product, text or email it, and your customer pays on a secure Stripe checkout from their phone. Make a link single-use for one customer or reusable so anyone with it can pay any number of times.

What you'll have

  • A pay link for any amount or product, sent by text or email in seconds
  • Single-use links for one customer and reusable links for everyone
  • Every payment tracked with the amount collected per link

What is text-to-pay in Agent Studio?#

Text-to-pay is a payment link sent by SMS. Your customer taps it, sees what the payment is for and pays on Stripe checkout without signing in or downloading anything. GoHighLevel calls this Text2Pay; in Agent Studio it lives under Payment links.

Should my link be single-use or reusable?#

Use a single-use link for one customer and one payment; the first payment closes it and marks it Paid. Tick Reusable: anyone with the link can pay, any number of times for a deposit link on your website, a class fee or an event ticket.

Yes. Pick a product with a monthly or yearly price and the first payment starts a subscription in your Stripe account that renews automatically.

Add the Invoice or Payment Link step to a workflow and choose the payment link option. It sends a one-time link for the amount you set to the contact in the run. Pair it with a form submission, a booked appointment or a deal stage change.

  • A booking confirmation that texts a deposit link.
  • A missed payment that resends a fresh link after a day.
  • A won deal that texts the first payment link to the new client.

Questions buyers ask#

Does my customer need an account to pay a link?

No. They tap the link, see what it is for and pay on Stripe checkout. No sign-in, no app.

Can I turn off a payment link?

Yes. Press Turn off on the link and it stops taking payments. Payments already made stay on record.

What is the difference between a payment link and an invoice?

An invoice has a number, due date, terms and overdue tracking, and suits billed work. A payment link is a fast ask for an amount, ideal for deposits and quick sales by text.

Can I put a payment link on my website?

Yes. Create a reusable link, press Copy link and use it behind any button on your site. Every payment lands in your Stripe account.
